Parmalat will acquire a group of companies for $105 mln

The Italian corporation Parmalat has signed a contract to purchase companies - manufacturers of cheese from Central and South America for $105 million.

Parmalat receives four production facilities - in Argentina, Mexico, and two in Uruguay. Twenty trade objects from Mexico, belonging to this group of companies, also take part in this transaction. The annual income of acquired companies is $197 million.

Parmalat Corporation exists since 1961, starting its history in Parma with a small business on milk pasteurization.
