USA Today reports the start of sales of Fаirlife milk in the United States from the Coca-Cola company.
Minute Maid is responsible for the production output. The drink will be available in the American shops this March after the start of the campaign. Fairlife will cost from $3.98 to $4.20 per 1.9 litres.
As claimed by Coca-Cola representatives, their milk will contain 50% more protein, 30% more calcium, and 50% less sugar than regular milk. It will contain no lactose. In the new product line consumers will find whole milk, skimmed milk, low fat milk, and some "chocolate options".
USA Today also stresses that the American consumers have an interest in protein food, while the consumption of carbonated soft drinks in the U.S. continues to decline.
